I was called a b*tch by a stranger in the Wild Oats parking lot downtown today during lunch. Apparently I almost ran him over. So when I got out of my car he yells at me, "Did you mean to run me over?" I looked at him and said, "no" and kept walking. He then says, "well you don't have to be such a b*tch about it." I turned to him and said, "Are you serious?"
I then walked into Noodles and Company to meet my sister and brother. The mean guy and his friend were right behind me. As I am about to step up and pay, mean guy comes up to me and gets in my face and goes, "I should have kicked your car. You were 2 inches away from my foot." I looked at him and said, "ok" and stepped up to pay. He then goes, "OK? OK?"
It was awesome.

Once in junior high a girl wanted to beat me up because she thought I called her a slut. Turns out somebody else did. You mind your business and still people are angry...go figure.
LOL. I think I have been with you a few times when people's lives have been in danger. From just being pedestrians. And yes, I recognize have threatened a few lives of my own. Kate
man, it's so anti-climatic when i get to your blog and get all excited about a new post only to realize that i already heard that one. sad.
nat, don't be such a BI-OTCH! lol...I would've punched him at Noodles, so props to you for keeping your cool.
Natalie- I found your blog on Nicole's page and wanted to say hi! What a funny story! I love how you handled it! Classic! You have such fun stories! This is Em Dowdle by the way!
are you serious . . . guess he was having a bad day! did you get all intense in your stomach? MAN OH MAN! Sometimes dontcha want to kick people in the face??
funny--i had a somewhat similar experience somewhere in the nevada desert the other day. i really really REALLY had to go to the bathroom so i ran past the line of ladies right into the (empty) men's room. then when i came out, one of the ladies in line seriously almost took a swing at me. i was plenty bitchy with her, let me tell ya.
What a psycho! I like how you handled it though, that was pretty funny. By the way, I love your post about the snugglefest...that's totally something my girlfriends and I would do, although we weren't creative enough to actually give it a title and tradition!!
What the crap? I am glad that you stood up to him! He was probably just jealous you have a hot new car!
You and getting yelled at while driving seems to happen quite frequently... how funny!
I'm with the guy on this one. I totally would have kicked your car. In fact, I think I'm going out to the parking lot right now....
why were you such a bitch about that?
For everyone wondering, I didn't almost run him over. I was pulling in a parrking spot and he was walking on the curb next to the parking spot i was pulling in to. The moron was not almost hit.
If the moron has poliety said something to me, I am sure I wouldn't have reacted the same way. However, I was so taken back by a stranger all of a sudden yelling at me, "no" was my first and only response.
His life was not in danger. I didn't almost run him over.
I love everyone's comments
